By JEAN MANEY ORORITY STATE DAYS and spring are synonymous in Indiana. Active members from the various Hoosier colleges meet with alumnae from all over the state once each year to present awards and discuss organization projects. The Panhellenic groups stress scholarship and honor individual students who have made outstanding grades. Cups. for high academic records are also presented to the chapters, Song contests will highlight many of the state day programs. Active chapters will compete for the prizes given to the best groups in this field.
Misses Jean Carpenter, Sarah Henning, Betty Barton and Josephine Barrett are selecting scholarship and song contest awards in Balfour's Jewelry Co. The crested rings and bracelets will be given to outstanding Phi Mu Sorority members at their dinner dance Saturday in the Columbia Club. Mrs. John Mitchell is general chairman. Alpha Deita Pi Sorority actives and alumnae will have a luncheon Mar, 19 in the Indianapolis Athletic Club. Mrs. Wilfam G.
