Is the Thing ’ In a Salad ° Tossed Greens Make Favorite Male Dish By MARIE McCARTHY ' GENTLEMEN, be seated! It's time to partake of a tossed salad--not the type to be gazed upon with doubt, one that's just a menu filler~but one made "with care and choice ingredients. You can toss it yourself, if you wish, but remember, the dressing’s the thing. Fill a sizeable wooden bowl, rubbed with a cut garlic clove, with your favorite salad greens (ours are hearts of lettuce, watercress and romaine). Tear the greens into bite-size pleces and pour over them this dressing. : . This is called Russian Dressing, but that soubriquet is “tossed” too, hither and thither. However, caviar lends the Muscovite touch. Mix one tablespoon prepared mustard, one tablespoon freshly grated horseradish (or drained, bottled sort), three tablespoons chili sauce, one-fourth teaspoon salt, one-eighth teaspoon paprika,
freshly ground black
and sugar to taste, one table-
