To make your airport get a large * square or oblong section from the side of a paper packing box, a plywood container, or a sheet of wrapping paper, and lay out ‘the runways with pencil lines. In addition to hangars you can make room for a control tower and service buildings. Paint your runways white to look like cement and the rest of the surface green to represent grass.
