Score Tied Once The only time the game was tied was in the first period at 3-all and then the Bulldogs raced to a 14 to 3 lead, mostly on the work of Jimmy Doyle and Biickshot. Don Boven began to hit on hook shots and put the Bronchos back in the ball game, behind only: five points at 25 to 18. Charlie Maas added his fire to the Butler score and the Bulldogs pulled away to a 17 point lead at the half, 48 to 26.
Ralph Chapman, in for Barrowcliff, led off the second half scoring parade with a tipin.
