H. H, Wetz, 3618 Salem Ave. owner of the residence, said he first noticed the fire when smoke began pouring into his side of the double house. The Dietrich family was away visiting friends at the time. Firemen were forced to remain on the scene for almost three hours since the residence contained double flooring to make sure the fire. was out, Mr. Dietrich reported. the damage, largely due to smoke and water,
