~The Indianapolis Capitals unloosed a vicious five-goal attack
in the final period tonight to defeat the Philadelphia Rockets, 7-4, In an American Hockey) League game before 3500 fans, the best crowd of the season, The victory kept the Caps In third place in the league's western division, only three ‘points behind leading St. Louis and a) single point behind second-place Cleveland: The fast-skating visitors outlasted the Rockets in a rough, hard-waged game from the first face-off. There was plenty of stiff body checking and Chuck Kraiger and Al Dewsbury drew major penalties. The first two periods were bitterly and evenly fought.
