* Private and church-related colleges in the state have organized a ‘five-member legislative committee headed by former Lt. Gov. | Richard T. James, now vice president and treasurer of Butler Un-| versity. ‘The organization was an- | nounced today by O. P, Kretzmann of Valparaiso University, president of the Association of Private and Church-Related Colleges in Indiana. The association comprises all the universities and colleges in the state except thé four state

|supported schools.

Mr. James said, “We will ask for: nothing from the Indiana General Assembly.: The only request of the privately financed

permitted to continue as private institutions. under our American system of free representative democracy.
