In seven 4-H years, he’s earned over $7000 with his projects, and won titles with his lambs and Angus beef steer, as: well as a tractor championship.

But Homer isn't satisfied with ==

routine farming. The 10-year-old! youth has begun to farm his acres by air, Out in Bend, Ore., Betty Koth, | 16, whose project is canning, turns over a lot of her products! to an orphanage. She was the | State Fair canning contest winner. Because of her orphanage connection, the state turned over to Betty a supply of deer meat,! taken from hunters who had] killed illegally. Betty promptly; canned the venison.”
