GEORGETOWN, Ind. Dec. 14 (UP)~—Firemen brought a $200,000 fire - under control early today after it had wiped out nearly two blocks of this small town's business section. ~ Fireman Chatles R. Vest said the blaze started last night when i& gas engine driving a seed grinder blew up in a store.’ He sald the flames were out of con‘trol “in three minutes: Cause {of the-blast was not known. Report No Casualties NO... casualties, were, reported, Mr. Vest said. Allen Moore, who was operating the grinder when the engine exploded, was uninI jured. The one-story Major Seed Co. store building, two three-story buildings, including the ‘Masonie lodge hall, a one-story confectionery store: and a residence were lost in the blaze. It leveled buildings on a 500-foot frontage on Ind. 64. Utility poles topple! and the town was without electricity. Firefighters from Louisville, Ky., were joined by Indiana departments from New Albany, Marengo, Lanesville, Cérydon, Milltown and Palmyra.
