Wood Paneling Is Versatile Design In the living room-office (right) the wall covering is a gray wood paneling that has a “velvet” finish. It's particularly effective as it 1s used here with modern blondwood furniture. The textured sofa is flame color, the. lamp hases coffee brown. Gray mixed tweed is used for the comfortable chair. Draperies are heavy raw silk in pale gray. The pattern (bottom, right) is dubbed “Mountain Pine” and comes in suptie color combinations of blue and brown on antique white, greens and browns on maize and pale-to deep brown on buff. While. the pattern has a Chinese influence and would prob-| ably be used as spice in an Orien-| tal: modérn interior, it could also ~hang’” well ina traditional rom.
