Thurston is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lenora Weedle, Mrs. Beulah Ferris and Mrs. Gladys Fox, all of Shelby County, and two sons, Maurice Thurston, Shelby County, and Robert Thurston, stationed in North Carolina with the Army Air Force.
