. ’ Redd Damage Suit : Times State Service GREENFIELD, Nov.26—Hearing on arguments for a new trial for Howard Pollard, convicted “hands and foot” slayer, has been postponed in Hancock Circuit Court until Dec. 11. "The hearing was continued so that a $25,000 damage suit filed by Mrs. Augusta Redd of Indianapolis, against Indianapolis Railways, Inc, may be heard.
in Michigan City for the slaying of Leland Miller of Indianapolis in 1946. He was to have appeared today for the new trial hearing. In the damage suit, Mrs. Redd alleges she was injured in 1946 when an Indianapolis Railways bus collided with a truck. She was a passenger on the bus.

Steer, Heifer Sales Firm With Wednesday
Hog prices averaged slightly below Wednesday's best prices in fairly active and uneven trade in the Indianapolis Stockyards today. Choice and good barrows and
sold “at $23.50 to $24 a hundred pounds. The top price of $24.25 was paid rather sparingly. Weights from 220 to 270 pounds were sold at $22.75 to $23.75 a hundredweight. A few choice grades sold at $23. Weights from 300 to 325 sold at $22 to $22.50. Although heavier
