State Hospital Inmates | State Police searched today for} two Indianapolis men who Yester-| day escaped from Central State! Hospital by picking the lock of! their door with a broken spoon handle. ? The two inmates, George Harris, 24, and William Shaw, 19, were confined to a room yester-| day because of previous attempts to escape from the institution. While other inmates and attend-! ants were at the evening meal the two men unlocked their door with a jagged spoon handle. After leaving the room they climbed out the second-floor hall window and dropped to the ground, attendants said. !
Circle X-Ray Survey
Reported a Success The three-day. X-ray survey conducted this week on the Circle was so successful, Alfred E. Kessler, executive secretary of the Marion County Tuberculosis Association arranged today, that the unit will be back for a full week starting Dec. 13. Confidential findings of the Xrays, taken at the rate of two per minute during hours of operations, will be mailed within wo weeks, Mr. Kessler said.
