Services for Claude H. Crowder, who died Saturday in his home,
by burial in Crown Hill. Mr. Crowder, who was 86, operated the Crowder-Cooper Shoe Store at 215-17 S. Meridian St, before he retired in 1934. The son of a pioneer Sullivan, Ind. family, he came to Indianapolis 51 years ago. He was engaged in the shoe business both in Indianapolis and Sullivan. In his youth he was a cycling enthusiast and carried a line of bicycles in his shoe store there. He is survived by his sister, Miss Grace Crowder, with whom he made his home, and Beveral) nieces and nephews.
