for newer homes,

Everything is all on one floor, and radiant heating is employed. Here are outdoor living areas, picture windows and many other new and pleasing step-saving features. The exterior of the home is designed for field stone or rough brick, but it could be built of almost any material desired. The garage is actually detached from the house, but because

it give the appearance of an exceptionally large and pretentious

home. ¢ You enter the home through left is a large coat closet. You which shows the result of the planning. The entire wall on the left is picture window and to the right is a V-shaped picture window which extends over the entire wall on this side. There is a natural fireplace in one wall with built-in bookcases on one side and seats with storage cabinets on the other.

From this step saving work area you go directly into the utility room where you find your laundry tubs, furnace and room for automatic washer and mangle, and storage room for cleaning equipment. The service entrance opens directly into this utility room. Between the living room and the bedrooms is a hallway

which passes a large storage closet with shelves for linens, blankets, etc. The bathroom is divided into

There are two large wardrobe closets in the master bedroom with siiding doors. The smaller bedroom has a picture window along one entire wall and another smaller picture window on the other side. It also has an exceptionally large wardrobe closet with sliding doors, You can leave the living room and go directly into an outdoor living area. This particular part of the plan could be made whatever size your lot warranted, but part of. this outdoor living area is covered and makes up one end of the garage. It is shown as a playroom and could be used for this purpose, but it also has a fireplace and grille for the cooking of outdoor meals. It is intended that this home be heated by hot water radiant heat installed in the cement floors. However, if other type of heating were preferred in this home, a partial basement could be excavated underneath the center of

two rooms according to the tng house, and the stairs leading most modern ideas. One room i, this basement could be placed
