The Indiana Department of the American Legion today ane nounced appointment of a committee to draft a “suitable and workable” bonus bill for presentation to the 1949 General Assembly. State Legion Commander Joseph F. Lutes, Indianapolis, said the committee would give '‘serious thought to the bonus bill.” He also stated that the commit-, tee had already questioned Hoosier Legionnaires and would incorporate their ideas into the draft.
