Davis Pupils To Give Comedy
Announce Cast For Two-Act Play
“Off a Pewter Platter,” a twoact comedy, will be presented by the Ben Davis High School dramatic club at 8:15 p. m. Nov. 13 in the school auditorium under the direction of Mrs. Elsie B. Ball, Heading the cast are Veronica Pacala, Pat Maguire, Myron Colber and Bernard Wurger. Supporting roles are played by Donald England, Patsy Connor, Lucille Wilson, Joe Phillips, Maude
Jackie Hanneman, Ruth Barton, Sue McMahan and Victor Kendall
Stage managers are Bill Ketrow, Richard Jackson and George Bauder. The stage crew consists of Jo Ann Edwards, Floretta Potter and Joan Gerking. Joan Perrott is property chairman and] Rita Gill is in charge of costumes. Betty Lou Kernodle is business manager. Led by Ann Abbott with 16% points, a total of 75 pupils received high honor roll honors at Ben Davis for the first grading period. Ninety-eight pupils are listed on the honor roll. {One-Time Union Leader Here Dies
president of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (AFL) and former Indianapolis resident, died yesterday in the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank Volker, Elizabeth, N. J. He was 75.

Mr. Cosgrove, a native of]
Elizabeth, came to Indianapolis
in 1915 when he was elected,
viee president of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He| remained in that office until 1929 when failing eyesight forced him to retire. In 1939 he moved back to Elizabeth.
He was a member of S88 Peter
and Paul Catholic Church and Elks Lodge No. 13 in Indian-| apolis, and the Knights of Columbus in Elizabeth.
Among his survivors are four
sons, Edgar J. Cosgrove, Wash-| ington, D. C.; Harold J. Cosgrove, | Kansas City, Mo.; Arthur J.| Cosgrove, Rensselaer, and Walter | Cosgrove, Indianapolis; a daughter, Miss Ruth Cosgrove, Indian-| apolis, and seven grandchildren.
Services and burial will be in Elizabeth.
