In the . same period last year there Were. 4200, U. 8. Public Health Service ng-| ures show a 25 per cent drop in! the nation’s divorce rate from! 19046 to 1947. A spot check of court records in all parts of the *country indicate the trend is continuing this year, the Health| Bervice reported, - What's the reason? President William Hutcheson of the International Carpenters’ Union was assailed by Andrew Jacobs, Democratic nominee for Congress last night at a banquet for the members of two other AFL unions at the Spencer Hoted.
