Hoosier Week-End Local Truck Driver Killed by Train
‘Week-end accidents claimed the lives of 11 Hoosiers, including Keith Compton, of 537 Drexel Ave., who died in a truck-train crash near Shelby, O., yesterday. Mr. Compton was killed when a truck he was driving collided with a Pennsylvania passenger train west of the Ohio town. ‘ ‘A 14-year-old baby-sitter and 17-months-old child were fatally burned when a coal stove exploded in a Lafayette home yes. terday.
