Game of Week Proves To Be Bust of Week

By JIM SMITH "The highly touted game of the week Saturday turned out to be the “bust of the week,” atleast as far as Purdue was concerned, | Northwestern's Wildcats mauled them to the tune of 21-0. The defeat of the Boilermakers poses several questions for the football experts to turn over in their minds. Topping these une doubtedly will be “just how good is Notre Dame?” Purdue scored 27 points against them, yet couldn’t score ‘against the Wildcats, incidentally the first time in 18 games they have been held scoreless. On the other hand, just how good is Northwestern. Against U. C. L. A. they only scored 19 points, and the Uclans admittedly weren't any good. Never-the-less, the. Wildcats have a £2

play of the second quarter, Tune nicliff smashed through tackle to score, and Farrar converted. Purdue started to drive again, moving to the Wildcat’s 27.
