wax after they have been cleaned, Next time you polish the family silver, give each article a coat of the same wax. The wax will retard tarnishing so you won't have to do so much polishing. Don’t use the wax on tablewear, however, as it does not taste yery good. Holes in canvas awnings can!’ be patched by cementing a patch to the underside with rubber cement. Be sure the awning is dry before you try this treatment. A lot of household wrepair jobs repositioning a wood screw a fraction of an inch away from the old hole. You can save your temper by first filling the old hole with plastic wood and allowing this to harden.
