Blast Injures Four

{A leaking gas main was blamed today for the brick kiln explosion which seriously injured four men here yesterday.

Brick Co. here said a kiln had been loaded with ‘green’ -bricks and heat turned on when it exploded, showering bricks over the entire plant. Those Injured were Porter Farris, 70, general manager; Frank Hamm, 58; Albert Walker, 56, and Roman White, 40. Mr. Farris received a broken leg and Mr, Hamm a broken shoulder, while both Mr, Walker and Mr. White were cut badly.
