First in Philadelphia The first of some 300 cities and; towns to be visited by the Free-| dom Train was Philadelphia, Pa. The train’s dedication took place there on Constitution Day, Sept. 17, 1947. It remained in Philadelphia’s Broad St. station until Sept. 20.
