Adult education activities of the Indianapolis Library have been placed in the charge of Miss Pauline French, Miss Marian McFadden, ¢ity librarian, said today. Miss French, formerly Madison Avenue branch librarian, will: direct the Great Books discussion
groups, film showings and forums. Her appointment, Miss McFadden explained, answers a public demand for specialized adult education services. The new appointee joined the library staff in 1941. She was graduated from Franklin College and Denver University and taught school in Texas before coming to Indianapblis.
