Plans Recital
Recently Won IU Voice Scholarship Miss Elizabeth Wrancher, teenage soprano and student of Jane Johnson Burroughs, will be heard in recital at 8:30 p. m. today in World War Memorial auditorium. Miss Wrancher, who sang the lead in the Technical High School Choir’s production of Victor Herbert’s “Sweethearts” last winter, recently won the state voice scholarship at Indiana University and the $100 competitive award of the National Boctety of Arts and Letters. ’ In addition to being chosen as the Mu Phi Epsilon medalist, she also has received the medal as the most outstanding music student of Technical High School.
