II PARENTS OF A 6-year-old girl were thanking their lucky stars today that she escaped serious burns when she was showered by a pan of scalding water yesterday. The youngster, Phyllis Stevenson, 539 W. Reno St, dashed around the corner of the house just as her half-sister, Freida k, 20, tossed the wate out of the back door. : The steaming liquid spattered Phyllis’ back and shoulders. Her mother, Mrs, Elnora Phelps, accompanied her to General Hospital in an ambulance where she received treatment.
