A really nice arrangement, 1t's “Flower Seller.” Patti Page offers “Tomorrow Night” and “Give Me Time.” Neither quite as effective as her duet with herself on “Confess” but both very listenable. And, if you like Albert Ammons, he bears down on the left hand on “Tuxedo Boogie” and “Bear Den Boogie.” This isn’t a new release but it's probably still available. It’s the Bobby True Trio on “Poor Butterreleased by Mercury some time back. It’s terrific but nothing ever happened to it. Johuny Long's new “Butterfly” is a close copy of the True -Trio’s patter version but not as good. If you've heard and liked the Long arrangement, then be sure to listen to the disc by this practically unknown group. »
