finish at about 2 p. m. All eliminations in the U, 8. are to be at least 135 miles in jength and the actual event in England will be approximately 200 kilometers (122 miles) over a road course. In the Indiana trials, one third of the riders will qualify to. ride in the sectional trials at Columbus, O., on June 6th. The final elimination events will be held in Milwatkee June 23d-27th at which time the final team will be chosen to go to England.

Most of the bicycles will be equipped with front and rear brakes, and a three speed gear shift. Each rider must carry all liquids and solid foods he will consume, in addition to any spires for repair. He must make his entire run without’ any outside assistance.
