Big Arab Force
Enters Jerusalem JERUSALEM, Apr, 20 (UP)— Big units of the Arab Legion were moving today into the Alemain camp on the outskirts of Jerusalem, where they were reported to be taking over from withdrawing British forces. Thirty trucks of the Arab Legion, together with at least seven armored cars with twopounders entered Jerusalem from the Nablus Road and swung down George Ave..to the camp. ' They shuttled past British troops going in the opposite direction. The camp is the biggest in the Jerusalem area. It commands the Jewish Mekor Haim area, from which the Haganah militia each night trades fire with Arabs in the neighboring Katamon section.
