Veteran in Charge Of Legion Ceremonies
If the Indianapolis Home Show, which opens: at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 4 p. m. tomorrow looks like it came off a progressive assembly line, then it will be due to the efforts of Col, Will H. Brown, former motor car manufacturing executive. He will be in charge of the American Legion ceremonies at the opening of the Home Show. Col, Brown was formerly custodian of military property at Technical High School. He was placed in charge of the property in 1931 and was retired in November, 1947. Fits 27,000 Uniforms During that time he estimates that he was responsible for fitting out nearly 27,000 ROTC uniforms to high school students over the city. “However,” says Col. Brown, “I hope those 27,000 boys are not in the market to be fitted out with a house because I am afraid that I cannot accommodate them. : Col. Brown is an Indianapolis institution in himself, He knows every big and little industrial tycoon who made Indianapolis the great city that it is today. He began his career with the
