For Stalled Auto NOBLESVILLE, Apr. 14—A former Indianapolis fireman was killed instantly when he was struck by an automobile at Bakers Corner, four miles east i Sheridan, last night. The victim was Clarence V, ot tinger, 59, who retired from the| Indianapolis fire department in 1045 after 27 years of service. He had moved to Hamilton County| and was making his home on a farm in the West Grove community, five miles northwest of Noblesville. Mr, Ottinger's car stalled and he was struck by an automobile he was attempting to flag down for help. Driver.of the car was Mjss Dortha Myers, 17-year-old| Sheridan High School student. Survivors include Mr. Ottinger's wife, six children, Mrs. Helen Hines and Philip Ottinger of Indianapolis; Leroy Ottinger of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Fannie Scoeill of Beech Grove; Mrs. Louis Harshman of Ft. Knox, Ky., and Mrs. Pauline Wilson of the home address; a brother, Clorid Ottinger, Pendleton, and a sister, Mrs. | Edna Day, Litchfield, Ill.
