That night one of the teenage gals will be chosen "Miss Sub*Deb &f 1948" at their annual “Cinderella Ball.” This year the PAL Club of Broad Ripple High School is sponsoring the dance to be held in the Knights of Columbus Auditorium. Each year a different sub deb club is selected to finance and sponsor the ball. The proceeds are given to a charitable organization, . : yw» ® ‘ns =» The PAL members raked leaves, had paper sales, did baby sitting and collested coat hangers in order to back the ball. They have succeeded in signing Johnny Hall and his band fom the Uni. varsity of Illinois to play. Now the PALS are in a whirl of "Before the Ball" activities. Hub of this is the frantic ticket selling cam- " paign.
