1200 Expected Here For Phys-Ed Parley
More than 1200 persons are expected to attend the four-day convention of the Mid-West Physical Education Association beginning next Wednesday in the Claypool Hotel. Dr. Clark Kuebler, Ripon College president, Ripon, Wis., will speak at the opening session. Other speakers will be Virgil Stinebaugh, superintendent of city schools; Ben H. Watt, state superintendent of public instruction, and Leon Kranz, Northwestern University physical education ¢hairman and president of the Mid-West Physical Education Association. State Board of Health, is convention chairman.

Soldier Seized In Jail Escape
Police last night arrested a fugitive who walked out of the Marion County Jail with an arm-! ful of garbage earlier and kept going. The escapee, who gave his name as Pvt. William B. Hurd,
