DETROIT, Mar. 31 (UP)—The Detroit News said today that Herbert O. (Fritz) Crisler, who resigned recently as head Mich|igan football coach but remained as athletic director, will .eave the university to enter private business. In Ann Arbor, home ‘of the university, Crisler said he had “no comment whatever” on the aews story or his plane. Sports writer Watson Spoelstra said Crisler ‘has negotiated for a position in Chicago that presurnably will pay several times his salary of $14,500 at Michigan.”
