Six professional bouts, including two eight-rounders, will form the first boxing program offered local mitt fans by Forrest McKinney at the Armory on Friday, Apr, 9.

McKinney, who obtained a promoter’s license from the Indiana State Athletic Commission recently, is arranging the program on the basis of talent displayed on recent fight cards which he has; witnessed in Evansville, Michigan City, Chicago and Louisville. He has signed Chuck McGow of Indianapolis and Eddie Trevino of' Mexico for an eight-round featherweight clash. McGow, former Golden Gloves star and Indiana AAU champion in the bantamweight division, has won 18 of his 22 professional | starts. Another “eight” and four “fours” will’ complete Promoter McKinney's program. The "last professional show here was held on Dec. 5.
