He explained that Indianapolis drew the consideration because of its central location in relation to the four final contestants who will play for the national title. Never Held Here Although the Hoosier capital has long been the home of national headquarters of the Legion, it never has entertained the “Junior World Series.” As in the past, games will be played on the two-game -loss elimination system. The four finalists which will begin play at Victory Field on Sept. 6 will be the survivors of a summer-long series of games in which an estimated 15,000 teams will participate. Indiana alone expects to have somewhere around 210 teams in the program this year. A total of 147 represented state Legion posts last season. With the announcement of the
