Mark Joyous Festival Purim

Purim dates back to the time of the beautiful Queen Esther whose story is told in the Bible in the book bearing her name, Esther, wife of King Ahasuerus of Persia, foiled the evil plot of Haman and saved the lives of her people. Accordingly, the festival is observed as a season of joy, prayer and thanksgiving. Jewish writers point out the self-evident analogy between the plot of Haman in ancient days and of Hitler in those recently passed in Europe.
