Dr. John L. Mixon, professor of church social work at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, will speak at the church social work conference Monday beginning at 9:30 a. m,, in the YWCA. It is sponsored by the Church Federation Social Service Department. Following the morning meeting, Dr. Mixon will speak to the Indianapolis Social Workers’ Club at micheon in the Y. His subject will be “Facing Community Problems Together.” During the afternoon he will visit church-spon-sored neighborhood centers and at night a dinner of church and educational leaders planning for the training of church social workers.
