The air conditioning unit which brings hangar temperature down operates much like the one in mother’s kitchen. The largest icebox in the world, it uses 100,000 pounds of Freon-12 and produces 780 tons of refrigeration. A steam heating plant’and heating colls in the air delivery system can produce temperatures up to 165.
