o Sift flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices—and add raisins. Cream shortening and sugar ‘together and -stir in well-beaten eggs. Add flour-rai- z sin mixture alternately with the milk. Roll 6 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut in- shapes. Bake on greased cookie sheet in moderately hot oven (400° F.) about 12 minutes. Cool and frost with a Confectioners XXXX Frosting, sprinkle with chopped nuts. About 6 to 7 dozen 2-inch cookies.
