Killed in State Traffic Over Week-End; Hunt Hit-and-Run Driver
Boy Cyclist Left Dying in Roadside; County Auto Toll Soars to 103 for 1947
| Marion County's traffic death toll for 1947 increased to 103 over the| more
week-end which recorded three fatalities in the county. . Six persons died in state accidents. City traffic investigators were trying to trace a hit-run truck which sideswiped a 15-year-old bicyclist in the 4700 block of E. 21st St. Saturday night and left him dying in the roadside. The youth was Arvie Wiggington of 2215 N. Wallace St.
