BEGINNING November 3rd the Indianapolis Morris Plo adopted the credit policy it followed before the war — 20
months to repay on loans for any purpose. In addition, 3year loans for home repair will continue to be available under
the FHS ‘plan.
Longer terms now are also available for financing the purchase of automobiles and appliances — 24 months for new cars, refrigerators and electric ranges—12 to 18 months for used cars, other appliances and furniture,

In electing to follow this olicy, ‘the Indianapolis Morris Plan is drawing on the experience it has gained in more than 26 years of sound operation—through depression periods as well as prosperity. During that time Morris Plan has successfully loaned more than 70 million dollars to men and women in all walks of life.

* Morris Plan’s large volume of business can be visualized by the fact that Morris Plan is currently approving business and personal loans and installment purchase contracts at the rate of 1 every 7 minutes of the business day, or at the rate of 18,000 annually.
No Increase in Rates
The Indianapolis Morris Plan believes that it has an obligation to the people of Indianapolis to make available a ready source of personal and business credit at moderate cost. Despite rising costs, Morris Plan has NOT increased its rates on personal loans. In fact, Morris Plan lowered its rates 14 to $6 per $100 per year on loans over $500 in 1942, and these same req duced rates are still in effect.

In addition, Morris Plan now -announces a reduction of 14 ‘in’ its rates on new car financing—down to $4.50 per $100 per year, which makes it possible for new car purchasers to often save $30 or more.
