Symphony's Tours To Reach 33 Cities
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will have its busiest cone cert tour to date in the coming season, Conductor “Fablen Sevitzky’
revealed today,
The orchestra will visit 33 cities
in nine states, playing a total
41 concerts—the largest number yet scheduled for a single year, Dr.
Sevitzky said.
Extending its customary Indiana tour by making first visits to Bedford and Vincennes, the orchestra # also will make its first appearance in Tennessee (Memphis), Minnésota , (Winona) and West Virginia (Hunt-
ington).
Longest section of the orchestra's travels will come next March, when a second week tomorrow at the Maestro Sevitzky and his 85 Hooslers will play 23 concerts in 23 days in 20 cities of Ohio, West Virginia,
Pennsylvania and New York,
