he board of directors of the sthodist Hospital today. They are the Rev. Sumner L

in, superintendent of the Injanapolis district of the Methodst Church, and William B. Shiltges, rst vice president of Fletcher Trost 0, The Rev. Mr. Martin replaces the ev, John F. Edwards. board secetary, who died recently, and Mr hiltges replaces Howard Sweet. Jas who resigned recently to go to Jalifornia. Dr. Martin was named secretary nd assigned to membership on frei finance, membership and hite Cross Guild committees. Trustees given new assignments were James A. Btuart, appointed to he joint liaison committee of the oard of trustees and hospital medcal staff, and William G. Davis, ppointed a member of the admintrative committee The board also made several ommittee appointments from outide its ranks. Charles M. Sharp rincipal of Howe High School, was dw as an additional member p! the educational committee Chester M. Warman, controller of fhe hospital, and William Barnett thief engineer, were added to the pension board Robert E, Neff, superiméident of the hospital, announced a gift of R100 from Louis J. Child Injured By Hit-Run Driver

Two children were injured. one by a hit-run driver, in trafic aceidents last night. Four-gear-old Sandra K. BarPell, 1741 N.. Bancroft St, was knocked down and slightly hurt when she was struck by a hit-run giriver In front of her home Wit. nesses got the license number and traced the owner of the car. Investigation disclosed that a 15-yvear-vid boy had taken his father's car Without the latter's consent. The boy admitted striking the child. He will be held for Juvenile Court action, Six-year-old Barbara Skidmore, 1501 Linden St, was badly hurt last night when she was struck by # car driven by Joseph H, Church, $50 Gilbert St, near the child's home. She is in General Hospital.
