Electricity from High Voltige Transmission Lines Is Brought Down to Fit Your Needs by

Sub-Station Men Like Veteran GUS PANTLE...

Eon in the “raw”, that is, at a transmission

voltage of 33,000 volts, is quite a lot too “hot” for-

home consumption. Before this powerful energy can be used for your lights, appliances, motors and other equipment, it must be stepped down at sub-stations staffed by men like 31-year-veteran Gus Pantle. Then they send it along through smaller transformers to homes, offices, stores and factories. Getting dependable Electric service to you .at proper voltage—and at the lowest price in history —is an obligation shared by more than 1,500 employees who make Power & Light for you.

Monday, in the Beech Grove “The Indianapolis Master Plan." Theater. ‘Mayor Denny also will attend.
