THE ENGAGEMENT OF MISS MARILYN COX WHITAKER and Joe Morin Miller is announced today by Miss Whitaker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman B. Whitaker. The future bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. H. L. Miller of Monticello. No wedding date has been set. "The bride-to-be was graduated from Tudor Hall School and attended DePauw University. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and The Players and is a provisional member of the Indiana Junior League. She served with the American Red Cross for 18 months in England and Germany. Mr. Miller is a graduate of Wabash College and a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He served as an infantry officer in Africa and Italy during the war.
