Oct. 1 at Severin Ceremonies comimemorating the entry of the first railroad train into Indianapolis on Oct.'1, 1847, will be held at a luncheon given by Penrisylvania railroad and chamber of commerce Oct. 1. ', The first train was on the Pennsylvania which at that time was chartered as the Madison & Indianapolis railroad. = More than 200 city business men and civic leaders will attend the luncheon in Hotel Severin. Ar gxhibition of new Pennsylvania passenger and freight equipment will be held the same day, open to the public, at union station. Principal speaker at the luncheon will be Paul E, Feucht, a Hoosigr who is vice president of Pennsylvania railroad and president of Indianapolis Union railway.

To Local Student A scholarship in physical therapy has been awarded Miss Marjorie Louise Gaskill,” 932 N. Tacoma ave. under the training program of the National Foundation for Infantile paralysis. Miss Gaskill is one of the 14 other Indiana residents to receive a scholarship under the program. She will study at the Medical College of Virginia at Richmond.
