Times Washington Bureau WASHINGTON, Aug. 19—The population of yndiana increased more than 7 per cent from July 1, 1945, to July 1, bureau reported today. Most of the increase resulted from the return of soldiers from overseas. Total increase in ‘the state's population from the time of the 1940 census to July 1, 1046, was 99 per cent. This was the eleventh largest increase in the nation.
