break-ins escaped because police failed to answer three reports of a break-in. James Noble Pearson, 810 Muskfngum st, teported he saw a man entering a rear door of Teller Grocery, 112 W. St. Clair st, about 2 a. m. Sunday. He said he called police three times to send a car before a squad was finally dispatched to the scene. By that time the | intyuder had fled The squad investigating found boards from a roof had been pried off and the store ransacked. The owner, John Teller, 2002 Central ave, was unable to give an estimate of missing articles, ‘Unusually Busy’ Night Inspector Tooley said he would investigate the complaint today. He pointed out, however, that the fails ure to investigate might have heen the result of “an unusually busy” night.
