A SUPPER DANCE IS

BEING ARRANGED at the

Meridian Hills Country club for Saturday night, Aug. 23. Danéfrig~will*be from 9 o'clock until midnight, and the buffet supper is to be served at 11 o'clock. The pavilion, where the dance is to be held, will be decorated with brightly colored lantern and foliage.

Lighted candles also will be used in the decorations. Mr. and Mrs. Harold P. Ransburg are chairmen of arrangements

The group will meet in the 38th st. branch of the Merchants National bank. Plans are to be made for the sale of programs at the Indiana - State Fair horse show. : Mrs. Frank Fairchild is president of the auxiliary, and Mrs. Paul Fletcher is chairman for the program sales project. PJ. ~George Ann Hicks of Edmond, Okla., nominee on the “Nationalist” ticket, was elected president of Girls’ Nation today, defeating Mary Gay Woodruff of Warrensburg, Mo., nominee on the “Federalist” ticket.
